Lunging for a fantastic jug! © Ross Barker

Crag features

Better known by locals as Brockers.

Access is not guaranteed but seems to be tolerated. Keep a low profile due to proximity to a house, tidy up after yourself and whatnot. Ask the crag moderator or any local boulderers for details.

Natural sandstone outcrop developed in early 2021. Dries reasonably quickly though there are some bits of seepage.

A new Shropshire guide is in the works by Nick Dixon and a topo of this crag will be included.

Finishes are match and downclimb/drop off due to the house above. It'll also be filthy! Some of the drops can be quite high so having a pal to stack pads can be useful.

Approach notes

Turn off the A49 into Lee Brockhurst, and immediately after the little bridge you'll see a large space to the right with room for quite a few cars, perhaps a dozen or so. Park sensibly, don't block anyone in, the usual stuff (which people somehow still get wrong).

From the east end of the parking, find a southeasterly trail which leads down to the river, and then follow the river downstream until you see the crag up on the left, just beneath somebody's outbuilding. The approach can be quite nettle-infested, so dress sensibly!

Restricted Access

Access is not guaranteed as there is a house just above the crag. For this reason, keep a quiet, low profile and don't top out the problems.

Does anyone have a topo?
