Cwm Hafodyredwydd is a steep sided valley dropping from the Migneint moor to Penmachno, a minor road links the Ysbyty Ifan-Bala/Ffestiniog B4407 road with the dead-end road to Cwm Penmachno. There are a number of watercourses climbable as summer or winter routes and records exist of rock climbing above the felled forest to the east of the road.
