Small Water bouldering consists of a collection of boulders and mini-buttresses on the slopes surrounding the tarn. The main attraction is the Piot Boulder high on the slopes below Piot Crag. This features a steeply overhanging face with a number of board style problems up it. There are a number of other worthwhile problems on small buttresses around the tarn with more room for development.
Approach is from the South End of Haweswater via the path for Small Water. 30 minutes to the tarn.
