Crag features
A large slab overlooking the valley towards Riva del Garda and Lake Garda. Great for beginners with many short (2 or 3 pitches) easy multi-pitch sport routes. Descent is by abseil down the routes so a 60m rope or doubles is necessary.Some of the routes at the right-hand end of the crag are equipped for blind climbers with a braille topo noticeboard with lines shown as raised lines with bolt placements indicated as raised bumps. Braille route names at the base of the routes - and some of those routes are pretty thin!
Approach notes
There is a carpark at the crag, but the road to it is VERY narrow. So if you love your car, leave it in the carpark in Chiarano and walk up about 20 min.
Restricted Access
A 30m^2 rockfall on the right side of the crag occurred May 2021 and the area has been fenced off pending a survey.
