Crag features

Tidal slabs. Pretty solid rock at the left hand side. The top of the right hand side requires a little more care and belays can be tricky to build. Best at low tide in the afternoon into evening when the approach has dried. A pleasant place to be.

The slabs are identifiable by the corner of Flight of the Bumblebee.

Approach notes

Park at or near St. Materiana's Church. Take the coast path south passing Tintagel Youth Hostel and the impressive face of Gull Point (named Dunderhole Point in the last guide) on the right. At the kissing gate, follow a faint fisherman's path diagonally down the grass slope until stepped rock leads you down to barnacle covered rock at sea level. Just around the corner, and out of view during the approach, the slab can be found.

An alternative approach is to continue along the coast path and drop down the spur to eventually pick up the stepped ledges that lead around to the right and take you down to the slab.
