Crag features
Labelled Dow Crag on the OS map. An isolated collection of good rock. The main wall is still in need of a good clean in parts. The highball bouldering just south stays much cleaner.
Approach notes
Park at Jubilee Bridge (Brotherilkeld) at the foot of Hardknott Pass, taking the path around Harter Fell to a gate and stile; strike out W for the crag: ~40min. Alternatively, walk up the sedate if winding forestry track around Harter Fell, from Birks Bridge parking, before cutting across to the top of Little Dow: ~50min.
