Boulders of various styles and heights are scattered in this park. The sit-starts are common to make full use of the modest stature of some of the boulders.
The rock is volcanic and varies significantly in quality from solid and compact to crumbly hell. The problems have all been cleaned using a shoe brush and a nut key for the flaky bits. The use of wire brushes is not encouraged as it damages the delicate grains of the rock. Gently brushing the chalk off after a session would be appreaciated too.
Approach notes
The carpark at the North-East end of the park is the best option to access most of the boulders.

| The grades are font grades. Given most boulders are quite small, almost all problems are sit starts. Some grades feel a bit soft, and some accurate. The guidebook could do with an update though. cmhb - 03/Mar/23 |

| I take back what I said. There's a few problems of decent height in the small quarry near the North East entrance. I did a bit of gardening and took out a few loose holds. There's potential for more, especially a nice looking slabby wall on the LH side. Maragmhòraix - 18/Feb/23 |

| Disappointing. The topo map has errors. Some of the stones are hard to find. Many of them were less than 6ft high. The grades are inflated - I understand that the small f stands for 'Fontainebleau', not for 'French', but maybe I got this wrong. The info needs some fixing. Maragmhòraix - 14/Feb/23 |
