Crag features
Albarracin's premier sport climbing crag. Hardly gets touched because of the quantity of amazing bouldering, but actually a decent local sport climbing crag.
There are around 30 lines, mostly steep pumpfests on pockets and good edges. The easier lines are on more vertical walls to the right of the main area.
The rock quality is mixed - in places excellent, with enormous huecos and bullet-hard edges. In other places it can be snappy/crumbly. Very sharp in most places as there is minimal traffic.
The bolts are generally good and relatively close together.
There is a topo but it is hand-drawn and not very useful. The routes described here are from left to right, starting with the first route on the left side of the main area. Three of the most classic routes are marked at the base using painted pebbles with the name on. You can use these to gauge where you are in relation to others.
Approach notes
From Albarracin, drive through the tunnel (towards Torres de Albarracin). Continue for a few hundred metres until you reach the 'Sierra de Albarracin' sign on the right. Turn here and park up next to the ruined building.
There is a path that leads up to the left side of the valley, follow this steeply up for a short while until the first sections of crag appear on your left. Continue along these (R to L) until you reach the main area.
