The watercourse flowing into Llyn Arenig Fawr freezes to give a stepped ice route starting at an altitude of 550m.
Approach notes
Park on the road at SH 84570 3955 making sure not to block any access. The track leads to Llyn Arenig Fawr and the bothy, a faint path then leads around the south shore to the stream and continues intermittently alongside it to where it steepens at SH 83891 37743.
