Crag features

The main sector faces north, and is situated in a narrow canyon, making it a useful crag during the summer. Most of the routes have their names written at the base, and there is an information board for each sector. The climbing is awesome, with a mixture of steep walls with small holds and perfect tufa walls with steep tufa flutes.

The bulk of the climbing is in the 7s, but there are easier offerings by the car park and on one of the sectors at the entrance to the canyon.

Approach notes

From Pamplona, head east towards Huesca/Jaca and go past Yesa. Turn left onto the A-137 and drive through Sigüés. Cross the river to enter a canyon, and keep driving until the road passes through a cut in the rock. The crag just on the right is Peña Palomera. Park here to access all the crags.
