A pleasant beginners crag with a great, pastoral outlook.
Approach notes
From the Rue Principal in Valbirse turn S at the roundabout (signposted Montoz). Follow the minor road (Haut des Planches) to climb up through the forest. A long section of the road is unsurfaced - persevere!
As the road levels out take a L turn onto a track leading along the ridge E.wards - the Chemin des Marguerites. Follow this for nearly a kilometer and park in a clear area just before the main track goes R and over a cattle grid.
Take the minor track up to the left and after about 10 minutes walking go R to the base of the crag.
