Crag features

100m vertical cliff of porphry. Some sandstone present too. The crag is in a nature reserve and should be respected for its rare flora. Perigrins also nest here and should not be disturbed.
The climbing takes a bit of getting used to but features sharp incut holds which can be friable. Cracks tend to be very parralle sided so take friends well. Away from the obvious fearures are several bolted routes for 6 to 8 nordic.
The view from the top alone make a trip up worthwhile.

Approach notes

From Älvdalen, drive to Klitten and follow signs to the carpark for Hykjeberget and park at the end of the road in the carpark. From here, hike up to the summit on the tourist path for about 20 min. At the top, follow the railings right and down looking out. I believe a path goes all the way to the bottom, but we abseiled one 30m section. Once at the bottom, the most obvious feature is the huge corner of Flätrännan, approached up a ramp.

No Access Issues

This crag is in a nature reserve for its rare plants and nesting birds. The right hand side of the crag has a climbing ban and is well signed.
