Crag features

A ten meter wide fourty five degree overhanging board (The Megaboard). Found in the Giant's Rib Arch the megaboard is a hard venue with a number of problems and projects starting around F7B.

There are also a number of problem on the approach across Glenthorne Beach, including another large cave home to more hard projects and a highball 7A on the lip.

This venue is tidal and it is possibly to be cut off, keep an eye on the tide as it moves fast in the Bristol Chanel. This being said you should still be able to get at least 2-3 hours either side of low tide.

Approach notes

The crux of this three star venue is the walk in, or more perhaps the walk out.

Park just off the A39. (51.2200412, -3.7168597)

From the parking walk down the hill until you reach some holiday cottages, from here join the footpath and walk down the valley following the stream until you reach Glenthorne Beach. This walk should take around twenty minutes.

From the beach head left and walk for about ten minutes and you will reach The Megaboard
