Altitude 222m a.s.l
Faces NE
An old granite quarry - reminiscent of many UK quarries!
Four separate walls forming a horseshoe with a central rock fin.
Very shady, takes a while to dry (the pallets dotted about the place are for when pools form at the base of some routes. Possibly a mozzy heaven.
All routes well bolted with twin bolt/chain/maillon lower-offs.
From Hirson head N on the D963 towards Anor. After 3 miles turn R on to the Rue du Pas Bayard. 'Site d'escalade' is signposted. Just after a house turn L onto a rougher track (signposted). After passing a farm (go slow!) the quarry is on the L just in the woods. You can drive right into the quarry.
None.
The first route, however, is currently closed - 'danger de mort'!
