A few gritstone buttresses that sit above the valley between Lydgate and Cornholme. The crag offers some short climbs ranging from 5-8m and some boulders here and there. Good for practicing top rope soloing, abit of a potter if you're local or just passing by. From the top of the main cliff you get a great view of the valley of neighbouring crags such as Bridestones, Orchan Rocks etc.
The two main approaches are:
From the Robinwood country store follow the public footpath on the left next to the River Calder until you reach the base of the crag. If you're approaching from Cornholme way head down the public footpath next to St Michael & All Angels Church and the head left up the hill. Follow along until you're at the base of the crag. There are no comments from visitors to this crag. |
