Crag features

Well featured grey walls on either side of a steep red central section.

Stars and descriptions only relate to climbs I have done myself or been told about. Others look good but no info available.

Update (2024): The grey walls are of significantly better quality than the orange, which seem to be of a high-sandstone-containing limestone. Some of the harder routes are quite undergraded and this will increase as routes polish (easily) and lose holds (already happening). Some of the easier routes (on the sharper, grey rock) appear to be graded accordingly, i.e. also stiff for the grade. Not a crag for egos in need of massaage.

Approach notes

Cross the river in Jalon (Xaló) and drive north for about 2km until the road ends by the last House up the hill. Park here. The 2020 Costa Blanca guidebook mentions taking "the" path and a level, 7 minute walk to the crag. Be aware that there are two paths, a walkers path with white/yellow lines and second path with the same white/yellow but in a cross shape. Take the cross-shape path on the right! The other involves an uphill walk of more than 7 minutes that goes nowhere near the crag :)
