Mount Habrich is an elegant granite tower on the high crest between the Stawamus River and Shannon Creek. Although climbers have been active here for more than 100 years, the rugged driving and hiking approach has been a challenge that has deterred all but the fittest. The east and west sides of Mount Habrich are worlds apart with two very different characters. West side climbs out of the Shannon Valley lean to the sunny and easier. East side climbs out of the Stawamus Valley lean heavily towards high-octane 5.10 thrillers.
