A Volcanic intrusion on the remote island of Saint Helena. It is almost virgin territory. A normal scrambling route has existed to the top for many years but as far as we can discover we are the first to explore roped climbing. The crag is covered in loose rock and lichen, and is not for the faint hearted.
We are in the process of developing routes. Some bolting has been done and will do more. Due to the loose and soft nature of the rock all protection has to be viewed with suspicion.
Bolting is being done in 'adventure style.' Run out and only where no trad pro is possible. The routes are free climbed throughout (We don't know how to aid climb!)
Follow the post box walk from Casons Road (signposted 'Fairyland') to the base of the crag. The path leads to the normal route scramble. Bleu Dot Promenade starts just to the right with some boulders. Other climbs require a 'follow your nose' approach.
Expensive and time consuming to get here!
