Crag features

El Pico may not be a popular venue these days, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go. The best lines have all been rebolted (good condition on 05/12/19), meaning you’ll be safe while wading through the choss. It’s not all choss though, the line of the crag, Tendon de Acero 7a+/b, is on solid, beautifully water cut rock. Also Jerry Moffat once visited so how bad can it be?

Approach notes

Walking from the fountain in Las Barracas head south along the dirt road. Head up a faint path that runs up parallel to the crag. The path is easy to miss but the crag isn’t; prepare for some bush-wacking.
