This crag is on Canadian Military land. Members of Ascent NB need to call Range Control before going. Non-members must present themselves in person to Range Control and procure a pass. 506 422-2000 ext 3121
This is actually very easy to do. Drive to the Guard Hut at the entry to the Peterville camp on Enniskillen Road (about 10 mins north of Welsford). The process of obtaining a permit takes about 2 mins (even on a weekend!).
Please don't ignore this requirement; you yourself could potentially face a large fine, and it will also jeopardise otherwise good relations between climbers and the military.
