Approach notes

Bike (or even better E-bike!) is the preferred method to approach the crag.

From the Eissportzentrum car park, follow the paved road on the left of the Trettach (river) about 1.5km. At a crossroads follow the sign "Oytal, Oytalhaus" to the left, cross a small bridge and follow the Oybach (stream) on a good gravel road uphill. This path joins the paved road to the Oytalhaus. Continue on past Oytalhaus in the direction of "Käseralpe" straight ahead you can see the Stuibenfall waterfall. After crossing the waterfall look for a cattle path on the right hand bend. Park your bike here and continue on foot over the stream. Ice Axes are recommended even in summer.
