Crag features

The overhanging face of a rock predomitory in Camusteel Bay with the stunning backdrop of Skye and Rassay. Characterised by large roof at sea level and 3/4 height. Generally solid rock but some friable edges and small flakes. Flat rocks at base make for excellent pad positioning (although not used for FAs).

4 good, low grade lines, following the obvious features of the face.

Approach notes

NG 70646 42135

Park in Camusteel hamlet, being aware of narrow road and drives. Walk onto shore and towards rock outcrop where the bay narrows. The steep roofs of the boulder are apparent. Accessed 4-5 hours either side of high tide.
