Crag features
This is only a minor crag so it's not worth travelling a long way, but if you are in the area and looking for late afternoon shade, it's worth a visit if only to climb on the perfect limestone of the left hand end.
It's a beautiful place, part of a nature reserve. The routes on the left sector are on perfect sculpted limestone as good as you find anywhere and there are several high quality easy routes, (although grades are quite tough). The right hand sector is a different type of limestone with less features, less height and some vegetation. The surface of the rock is a bit dusty/dirty in places due to lack of traffic and may need a soft brush. There are still some worthwile routes on this section.
Harder routes have been added to fill the gaps. A couple of these take very smooth blank walls, look very good and must be at least high grade 7's.
I have added routes from "Jura Plaisir" 1997 and some I noticed during my two visits. If anyone can add more from the 2017 guide, or from other information I would be grateful. Please indicate the location of routes you add so I can order them correctly
Approach notes
Jura Plaisir indicates there is parking up a rough farm track near a picnic bench (apprarently the 'designated' parking). This didn't look that suitable and may need a 4x4. There is space for 2 to 3 cars on the verge of the road on the left hand bend just down the hill past the farm a short way. Coordinates for parking on the bend are N 47.0356077 E 6.5388085
Walk back up the road and up the track that goes round the R of the farm. (Marked with blue and yellow paint). Walk along the dirt track past the picnic bench and after approximately 10 minutes you get to the nature reserve board. Here you take the left fork and drop down and to the left below the crag, passing under the right hand sector first
