Mt Garibaldi is one of the Cascade volcanoes and is partially visible on a clear day from Squamish (behind Atwell Peak). The Northern flanks are heavily glaciered.
The Cheekye and Brohm river FSRs provide good access to Brohm ridge. There are other approaches possible, e.g. from Elfin Lakes.
