Approach notes

From Sintra, take the road uphill to Palácio da Pena/Castelo dos Mouros, then turn right in the direction of Cabo da Roca on the N247-3 and follow the signs for Convento dos Capuchos.

Park the car at the large car park near the Convento dos Capuchos gate/ticket office, then turn right onto the dirt track and after 250m turn left. After 100m and at the next junction turn right. Walk for another 100m and follow the large path on the right-hand side leading to the boulders.
