The King and Queen Stones © Sid Sherborne

Crag features

Outcrops of oolitics conglomerate limestone lying on just off the footpath up Bredon Hill from Westmancote. Local legend has it that if you pass between them you will be cured of illness.

The stones lying highest on the hill are too friable for climbing but the lowest gives some juggy bouldering. Worth popping in if you're walking past anyway.

Approach notes

Park at the top of the unamed road north of Westmancote where it turns into a dirt track. Continute up the track, bearing left where it splits in two. Follow the path around a left-hand bend and the rocks are found below the next right-hand bend, to the left of the footpath.
