Approach notes

Approach is up a steep valley bank over loose soil, try to approach unseen by walkers as to keep the area protected. 

Climbing area:

When this area was first discovered it was a complete mess, full of rubbish, air rifle shot cans, needles and all sorts. We've tried our upmost to remove all the rubbish and return the area to a place of beauty but please be aware of where you're standing. On multiple occasions this area has been cleaned only to return again to damaged(shot) rock and more rubbish although it is happening less often. Hopefully one day the idiots will get the message but be aware.

Top out area:

Unfortunately it's not just idiots with air rifles, the farmers seem to think this area is a tip off point for any rubbish which they can't be bothered taking to the tip/removing from their field. The gradient down from the field is steep and so over the years the top out became covered is rotten wood, building and industrial rubbish and ivy. Attempts have been periodically made to tidy and restore this area but it's a difficult gradient to work on so there is still work to do. Watch your footing and be aware that parts which haven't clearly been walked on will most likely be loose.
