Crag features
Steep sandstone outcrops with a short walk or a long walk. You'll need to take a wire brush for the top sectors but everything up to the Highballs is clean as of November 2018. http://www.drtopo.com/north-america/united-states/virginia/mcafee-s-knob (dead link as of June 2023)

Approach notes
Park for McAfee's Knob on the AT. The roadside boulders are just to the right of the fire road, Mickey and the Highballs are further up the fire road, and everything else is clustered around the knob.
