Crag features
Two pinnacles and some low blocks of good quality gritstone in Bow Woods above Lea.
The home of the eliminate and legions of wood ants which can make a summer visit quite challenging.
Approach notes
Park by the Smedley Factory and take a path up the hill towards the farm, this swings left after 200m, after a further 100m break left off the path and push on uphill for 100m.
Update: 25/03/24.... A tree has come down, blocking the original route. Alternative route, is to stay on the main path until reaching the two wooden planks laying in the ground. The rock can be seen in the woods from here, bushwhack up hill from here.
