Crag features

This beautiful bay, guarded on the east by Pen y Holt Stack, is approached via the coastal track leading west from the Stack Rocks car park. The cliffs at the back of the bay suffer frequent rockfalls, which is not surprising when many of them are made of piled blocks glued together by mud. However, Pen y Holt Stack and the Cabin Door Islet consist in general of much more solid rock and give adventurous climbing in a remote situation amid superb rock architecture.
