Carnelloe is a small headland of tumbled greenstone, which is too broken to give defined climbing. However, it provides some low-grade climbs and adventurous scrambling along the complex eastern shore of Porthglaze Cove.
Take the B3306 St. Ives - Pendeen road and turn off into the hamlet of Zennor and park on the road or in the car park. Walk between the pub and the church and pick up a track that cuts back left behind the pub and heads out towards the coast. Where the track ends at a house entrance, continue on a footpath that meets up with the coast path. Turn left and follow the coast path past Pendour and Veor Coves to the headland of Carnelloe.
