Drive past the church and park on the first hairpin. Take the obvious trail from the hairpin through the woods. Walk about ten mins and take the leftwards-trending path behind the signpost for about 2 mins until you reach the foot of the crag. Make sure you don't follow the signpost and head rightwards and downhill - this is wrong!
In June 2002 a huge rockfall from high above the crag swept the ground at the foot of the crag removing a few of the first bolts and felling mature trees, some of the blocks reaching the village of Barberine. Despite purging the couloir above the crag numerous times over a period of years further rockfalls occurred. This resulted in the crag being banned - an arrêté municipale - which is still in force. Climbing here therefore is at the climber's own risk. The commune is not responsible for any injuries and climbers' insurance is void.
