Crag features

Traditional climbing place in Prague. Geologically, it is proterozoic stone called "buliznik" in Czech; it is quite similar to slate and flint. Chalk is not allowed in the area. Most of the areas are partially bolted (usually one big ringbolt per route and an anchor bolt) and they are reasonably well protected, although polished.

The area has been climbed since the end of the 19th century, predominantly by German climbers preparing for alpine mountaineering. It consists of a number of sectors, the most important ones are: 1) Divci skok ("Maiden's leap"), 2) Zabak ("He-frog"), and 3) Brenta.
