A nice roofed boulder in a very pleasant setting is the main attraction, however there are a couple of other venues that are worth looking at on the way there if you are seeking some easier bouldering on delightful rock away from the madding crowds.
Park in rydd ddu and take the footpath opposite the cwellyn arms. Follow the track and where it branches the first area keeps following the right hand branch, under the railway line before heading up the little grassy/rocky rise on your right. The wall lies on the left hand side at the top.
The main area continues on the left hand branch until you reach a gate on the railway. Through this and along the boggy (in the winter spring /months) path to reach a footbridge. Over to the right up the hillside is the boulder .
