Approach notes
From Brescia follow the signs for Lake Garda. Once in S. Eufemia, continue to Botticino Sera and then to Caionvico. You park near the church near the cemetery and take the mule track that goes up to Mount Maddalena. At the first junction, after about 10 min. walking, (red stamps), always in 5 minutes you reach the Canyonvic sector (main) and Sasso dell'elefant. Currently there is a signpost for the crag on the track junction. The routes are each labelled with a small plaque detailing the name and grade.

room for 6 cars near church but please avoid mass times; a sign at nearby graveyard asks visitors not to park there for more than an hour
