No Access Issues

Alcañiz bouldering is spread out in several different sectors. Most of the sectors are on the north side of Alcañiz on both sides of Rio Guadalope. The potential of new sectors and boulders are huge. At this moment there are no known access issues, but in order to keep it that way, please behave according to the following:
-Park at parkings showed on 27crags or www.boulderalcaniz.com
-Don't block any roads/passages with your vehicle.
-Don't leave any trash behind you and bury your needs.
-Be kind to the land owners and respect the farmers, most sectors are on private land
-Brush away tickmarks and excessive chalk

For the newest information and downloadable PDF-topos and access descriptions in Spanish you can visit the site www.boulderalcaniz.com

Routes
All no-name routes are named according to the pdf-topo numbering and the sector name, do not add any no-name routes or ?-routes. There are a huge amount of opened routes that are not yet added to 27crags, be patient.

Rockquality
The rockquality varies from excellent to fragile. The rock is sometimes very soft so for cleaning both old and new boulders, avoid the use of steel brushes. According to the ones who have cleaned most of the sectors, a hard cedar brush is enough to remove the lichen and keep the rockgrains and the friction.

Roads
Many of smaller roads are basically mud roads, when dry, they work very well, but be aware that after rain or when wet, it is very easy to get badly stuck in the mud.
