Crag features
South facing ice falls clearly seen from roadside next to Vangsmjose (Vang). One long hard classic (Langåni) and one moderate route (Drojsa). Other routes further east of these falls possible.
Approach notes
Parking at a nearby layby, just west of the falls, overlooking the lake- space perhaps for 3-4 cars maximum.
Approach to Langani - enter into the woods to the east of where the falls cross the road, stay withiun the forest all the way up (30-45 mins, depending on snow) - lots of animal tracks observed here during winter so watch out for human tracks to signal the entrance. Avoid climbing up the lower ice sections as these slow you down and unnecessary. Stay to the east of the falls until the face appears proper.
No Access Issues
None known at time of writing - in deep snow the road approach from either the east or west can be treacherous - advise chains on tyres if very bad. The road does have people living on it, but they usually have 4x4s.
