Rocktype Pillow lava
Altitude 4m a.s.l
Faces all
A collection of pillow lava along the south edge of the beach. The boulders are short, so sit-starts as needed to make them worth while. Not an extensive range, enough for a couple of hours.
Possibility of more boulders on the hillside behind the beach and an impressive artificial crack line hides at the top of the hill.
Follow the costal roads south until the sunset bar. Beach boulders are obvious on the south side of the beach.
The hillside routes can be found behind the concrete walls, on the opposite side of the road.
Following the stairs up the hill from sunset bar will get you to the large concrete dome, housing the crack line.
