Crag features

A decent enough way to spend an easy afternoon in Zermatt. Good rock and a variety of routes, although focus is on the 6b range. Fine views over the village.

Approach notes

Somewhat tricky to find. From the town's big Chruch (Kirchplatz), take the road up the hill towards the Matterhorn. Take the second branch road to the right and keep following it as it turns into a smaller walking path and weaves in between a few chalets. Look out for a well-worn but small path leading up the hill as you get towards more rocks. The path switchbacks once and dumps you onto a wide plateau at the base of the crag.

At the plateau once the path starts going straight up on the left just after some cabins are some trees, take a left here and follow the path over the mound. Follow this path to the crag.
