Crag features

Hundreds of erratic boulders can be seen from the bog surrounding the tiny village of Derryrush (GR L 898 391). Sadly only a small proportion are of height. The rock is a very rough grey granite which will punish those with thin skin. The Chief is the main attraction in Derryrush, the rest of the bouldering is less impressive.

Approach notes

Coming from the N59 take the R336 south at Maam Cross then at Screebe turn right onto R340.
