The best sport climbing within reach of Riyadh. Mostly centred on a white wall on the left side of the wall. Well bolted, but most of the belays have been removed by helpful locals. Rescue krabs in last bolt of most routes.
Best approached along the base of the large wadi from the west. From Riyadh, there are decent roads most of the way, except for the last 10km, which are on a decent track, then a vague track to a camping spot near the base of the cliff. 4WD required for the last 10km.
From the end of the tarmac, drive towards a farm for 200m. Turn left up a sandy track and then turn right after 400m to skirt around the edge of a "field". Stay on this track for about 8 km until you reach a small cairn on the right. Follow the vague track on the right towards the escarpment, dipping into a couple of small wadis on the way. After a couple of km the track stops - park/camp here. From here a short blast (15 mins) up a valley leads to the base of the crag.
None known yet as this is really in the middle of nowhere...
