Crag features

Small yet very pleasant crag next to a shallow cave only 200m from the road.

20m to left of the cave is an obvious crack, yet the rock is hollow and does not look safe.

Be careful of other hazards such as Prickly Pear Cacti and sharp shingle.

There may be more routes on this crag, so have a good look around before you leave.

Good luck getting to this island though! Luckily some of us get sent here to "work"!

Approach notes

Travel to Two Boats, and take the main road to the Ariane Site / Hummock Point. After passing the Sisters Peak cairn on the left, continue for approximately 100m and you will see the crag and the cave about 200m to your left. Follow/create a path through rough terrain and scamble up to the cave.

No Access Issues

Ascension Island is one of the most isolated islands in the world. Be careful. The nearest hospital is 800 miles away on St Helena. You have been warned!
