Crag features

The seacliffs in the vicinity of the 'Carrières' (quarries) look like they may hold some routes from the sea. There's a large non-tidal buttress plus sea level crags. Also known as 'The Picot' by local anglers (probably a corruption of the 'Pico' bench or vice-versa).

Approach notes

Park by Telegraph tower or the gate or the airport VOR beacon then head along the track eastwards through the Val d'Emauve valley. Take a path off to the cliffs to a bench dedicated to 'Pico'.  Follow your nose down to the crags.

Fishermen use the area, so they may have left untrustworthy ropes in place.

Access Advice

None, although bird nesting season should be avoided (March - July).
