Climbs 69
Rocktype Sandstone (hard)
Altitude 1m a.s.l
Faces S

Crag features

Some low sandstone bluffs, with the odd limestone band. Decent landings (though a tarp is advisable) and generally friendly top outs.

The crag has three main areas: the walls and boulders on the sandy beach, the long, low wall 100m on to the East and the outcrops further down the front towards Hayes Point.

Approach notes

Park near the Atlantic Way Recycling Depot and take the gravel track to the beach immediately opposite the Centre's gates.

Access Advice

Tidal. About 3 hours either side

If you continue to the left, (facing out to the sea), you can follow a path at the back of the beach where, after a mound of earth, you can quickly drop down to a small continuous wall. This is what I've called "Rockpool walls". A couple of hundred metres on from the far right of this sector is "Big Nice Area" with some good square-cut features. Took some photos and will try to add topos when I have time.
