Crag features

The broad east-facing sweep of Start Bay offers bouldering on perfect wave-washed schist between the villages of Beesands and Hallsands. Pads and spotters are useful as many of the problems are above dodgy landings. Sand levels vary tremendously over time so sit-starts should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Approach notes

Park at the far end of Beesands village beyond the Cricket Inn. Walk south along the beach towards Start Point.

This is named wrong and the location is in the wrong place on the map. This is 'Beesands' page 92-96 in the new South Devon guide.
