Crag features

The Roman and Fern Gully above High Tor.

Access Advice

The land is owned by DDC and there is a clearly displayed no entry sign at steps down into the gully.

There are significant mineworkings and potential stopes (voids) in the area including Fern and Roman Gully areas.  There is potential for mine collapses in any of the areas of the gully.

Whilst the area has been used in the past as a show cave/walk and is still frequently visited by walkers this does not mean it is safe.

If you choose to climb here please be aware of this risk.
