Approach notes

The Approach is best done from the east using farm tracks that drop down from the road above. You are lead to a sector of poor rock in a tiny field (fear not this isn’t the crag). Instead find a rather overgrown path at the bottom left that takes a rising traverse up through the trees. Parts of this are aided by a rope. It leads you gradually up to the eastern end of the crag 

 

The old position of the crag on UKc was on some dangerous ground on the other side of a small Devine. It lead to an approach from a field and a poor path coming in from the west. This too is possible: from a tight right hand bend in a track that heads directly down the hill from Séran turn left into a field and left again to a corner at the back. Here a good, hidden path leads into the trees. A short way down the hill a small cairn on the left indicates where to turn up the hill (if you reach the vines you’ve gone too far and can either turn left leading to the description from the east or turn back). The cairned path is poor and very overgrown: try to choose options that gain height on the hillside. Eventually you reach the very western end of the crag.

 

Nb: Using the Mani Nude book is unhelpful with rather vague directions to a well hidden crag... there are a multitude of unpaved roads in this area to choose from. The English also appears to be incorrectly translated with a left turn described as right in the other two languages.
