Crag features
Two tiers above the Refuge de la Blanche, the first about 250 m and the second to the summit around 120m. The tiers are separated by rocky knolls and two small lakes. The geology is complex with many different folded rock types.
Approach notes
The lower tier is 15minutes from the Refuge de la Blanche. Refuge de la Blanche is accessed from St. Veran. Commonly a route on the lower tier can be linked in the same outing with a route on the upper tier, separated by a walk of around 30 mins.
