Altitude 290m a.s.l
Large limestone roof found high on the south side of Hartington Dale, just west of a bad corner with a junction on it.
Approach from Hartington. Parking in the village, go up the hill towards the YHA, continue on the road past the hostel and take the first footpath on the left. go through a farmyard and over the wall. From here, follow the wall side along for 500m. (not the easiest). You will eventually arrive at the crag.
Approach from A515. Take the B5054 to Hartington and park in lay-by on right just before entering the village. Walk back along the road to the footpath on the right that leads up to the wall mentioned in the YHA approach. Turn left along the wall and follow it as per the YHA approach.
This crag is in access land, however the farmer could not be located to ask for formal permission so please be polite if asked to leave and leave no trace.
