A series of buttresses on the hillside overlooking Llanfairfechan. Much is blocky and shattered but Great Slab is a nice exception.
Exit the A55 at junction 15 from the east/junction 14 from the west, and drive into Llanfairfechan. At the crossroads in the village, turn inland and follow the road uphill past a school to the left into Bryn Road. After 200m turn left again into Mount Road and follow this uphill for approx. 1.5km to a left turn just beyond a large house set back from the road (Plas Heulog). Park at the end of the lane where a rough quarry track continues uphill.
Approach as for Penmaen West Quarry but go down through the gate at the second stand of trees. Follow the path down a field and through a gap in a wall then trend up on a gentle diagonal (no track) to the top end of the crag. The routes are spread out down and left, the lowest (Great Slab) being just over a dry stone wall.
